If you live near London, or are planning to be in London in early December 2010, then you should check out a new Miles Davis art exhibition being held at Gallery 27, 27 Cork Street in Mayfair, London, from 7th -12th December (inclusive). The exhibition will show the last remaining 100 original oil paintings and drawings, and is organised by The Compton Cassey Gallery and Balmain Fine Art. Half of the work in the exhibition was acquired from the Art Estate of Miles Davis by Jonathan Poole, and the remainder – presented by Keith Denney – was inspired by the artist Jo Gelbard, Miles’s companion for the last five years of his life.
